The Business: Our Client are a leading service provider on a variety of highly specialised machinery with applications in a number of industries. Due to their continued growth over the last few years and progression within the department, a new Workshop Engineering role has become available. This opportunity will align well with an Engineer with a keen eye for detail, keen to progress and increase their knowledge base in a specialised area of Engineering.
The Role: As a Workshop Engineer you’ll be responsible for:
- Machinery coming into the workshop to be refurbished, making sure that they are maintained to the standards that their clients expect
- Ordering spare parts needed for the machinery
- Fault Finding Electrically, reading diagrams and working safely on single phase equipment
- Calibrating machines to ensure they give accurate readings
- Working Mechanically and completing root cause analysis to determine why the machines fail
The Candidate: The Right candidate for the role of Workshop Engineer will have:
- Experience working in Maintenance/Service/Workshop Environment
- Confident working alone solving mechanical and electrical problems
- A keen eye for detail, ensuring that you check problems through methodically, keeping quality of work high
- Be keen to progress their career and be willing to learn from experts in their field
