The role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work within a large, well-structured engineering department supporting a heavy, process-driven manufacturing site. The role is hands-on and varied, covering reactive maintenance, PPMs, and ongoing project work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reactive fault finding and repair on large-scale production equipment including presses, laminators, conveyors and much more. This is a highly automated and technical environment.
  • Maintaining accurate PPM schedules, shift handovers, and engineering reports.
  • Supporting continuous improvement activity across the factory.

This Maintenance Engineer position suits someone comfortable working on large, industrial machinery in a busy manufacturing environment.

What we're looking for

To be successful as a Maintenance Engineer, you will need:

  • A recognised engineering qualification equivalent to a Level 3 or above (NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC, HNC etc.)
  • Confidence fault finding mechanically and electrically.
  • A practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to work on a heavy plant environment.
