We are working closely with one of the UKs leading companies in the hydraulics market. The business provides bespoke hydraulic systems which are used across a huge range of manufacturing and industrial markets. The business turns over in excess of £100 million a year and employs 600 as a group and has ambitious plans for year on year double digit growth as part of their strategy.
The role of Hydraulic Field Service Engineer will be working throughout the UK carrying out the planned service and repair on specialist hydraulic systems. The systems the company provides consist of pumps, motors, pipework and valves that have a wide range of applications across both manufacturing and agricultural vehicle manufacturing.
The Field Service Engineer role will involve:
- Hydraulic pipework installations
- PPM of hydraulic power units
- Carrying out fault finding diagnostics
- Putting together risk assessments and method statements for site work required
- Providing customers with quotes for service work needed
The role will typically see you spending a couple of nights away from home per month.
