An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Electrical Project Engineer to join a highly respected UK lighting manufacturer with a heritage spanning more than 100 years. As part of a global organisation leading the way in intelligent lighting and smart building technologies, you will support the delivery of innovative projects across infrastructure, transport, public realm, commercial and industrial sectors. This role is ideal for an ambitious engineering graduate or junior engineer looking to develop their technical and project management skills within a growing and forward-thinking business. The Role:

As a Junior Electrical Project Engineer, you will support the successful delivery of lighting and controls projects from initial enquiry through to completion. Working closely with Engineering, Product Development, Sales and Operations teams, you will assist with project coordination, technical documentation, product testing and customer support activities. You will gain hands-on experience with intelligent lighting systems, electrical infrastructure and emerging smart technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and delivery of electrical and lighting projects.
  • Assist with project documentation, technical specifications and project schedules.
  • Liaise with customers, contractors and internal departments to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
  • Support product testing, validation and technical evaluations.
  • Help investigate and resolve technical issues during project delivery.
  • Produce technical reports, installation guides and project documentation.
  • Monitor project progress and support engineers with achieving key milestones.

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
