With over 20 sites in the UK and a multi-billion-pound turnover, my client is growing as the world becomes more technical. Being a leader in their respective industry, there will be opportunities to grow on site specifically as well as across the larger group.
They are looking for an Engineering Manager at this site to join the team and help advance operations, understand the site, and manage a large engineering team with various roles. Responsibilities include maintaining relationships, ensuring the site meets its KPIs, minimising downtime, being involved with the recruitment process, and proposing new projects.
The Role
As an Engineering Manager, you will:
- Attend daily meetings with the team
- Ensure the engineering team performance is satisfactory for the site
- Manage a large engineering team
- Manage a multi-million pound engineering budget
- Understand the site and the processes in place
- Work closely with a team to develop members of the engineering team
