£52k overtime 4 on 4 off days & nights Sheffield – commutable from Wakefield, Huddersfield, Penistone, Barnsley. 258 days bank holiday. Lucrative employer pension contribution. Overtime to boost your annual income.
The Company: ATA are pleased to partner with a UK based manufacturing firm. They manufacture sustainable products for the civil, household, industrial market and are breaking out to the wider EU market. They have made huge investments into their 70-acre site, most recently installing £2m solar panels across their 2 sites, installing 3 new lines and are in the process of upgrading obsolete equipment. The order book is continuing to grow, and the company is now at a point where they can really kick on and become a world class manufacturing facility in the future. The Budgets for the forthcoming year have already been set, and they are very healthy, there is a great deal of support within this role and there will be money available for you to take under CAPEX and projects to improve the site further.
This role would suit an existing maintenance leader or someone with a proven track record of overseeing a team of engineers. My client is seeking a maintenance team leader to provide leadership, motivation and monitoring individual team performance. As the Maintenance Team Leader you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the engineering department and work alongside a maintenance supervisor whilst being hands on to ensure maximum efficiency production plant.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising a team of 2
- Schedule planned preventative maintenance
- Mentoring and developing engineers
- Ensuring your team is in the best position to carry out their work to the best of their ability
- Reactive and planned maintenance
- Implementation of the stores managing through S5
- Daily review meetings with customers
- Conduct risk assessments
The ideal candidate for this Maintenance Team Leader position must have the following skills, abilities and qualifications:
- Must have a recognised electrical qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ level 3, BTEC, ONC, C&G, HNC, HND)
- Proven track record of supervising or leading a team of engineers highly desirable however my client is open to speaking to motivated maintenance engineers who have stepped up into the role
- Experience of working within a fast paced heavy plant would be highly desirable
- A positive can-do attitude
