The role of Senior Project Manager will involve the full oversight of projects, from initial customer handover to project close-out. Managing one project at a time while assisting on others, you will be the dedicated lead on engineering projects lasting anywhere from 3 months to 2 years. Your success will be measured on your ability to deliver projects on time and to budget, whilst ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and effective risk management.
As the Senior Project Manager you will:
- Manage all aspects of the project, ensuring they comply with customer contracts
- Control contract variations and manage milestones and invoicing
- Be involved in customer handover, project briefings, scoping and planning
- Oversee design and engineering through to manufacture and fabrication
- Ensure on-time delivery for installation, commissioning, and project close out
- Review completed projects for lessons learned and potential improvements
To be successful in your application for this Senior Project Manager role you will need:
- Demonstrable experience in managing engineering projects
- Previous experience managing delivery against customer contracts
- Strong communication skills for dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- The ability to navigate complex documentation
- An aptitude for leadership and problem solving
For this Senior Project Manager role the following benefits are on offer:
- £65,000 - £75,000 base salary, dependent on experience
- 10% annual bonus
- 8.30-5pm Monday to Thursday with options for early Friday finish
- 6% pension
