We are recruiting an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to join a manufacturing site based in Selby. This is a permanent role offering strong earnings, regular overtime, and long-term job security within a performance-driven environment.
The Role
As an electrical maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for reactive breakdowns, planned preventative maintenance, and supporting installation and improvement projects across site. The position is electrically biased and requires confident fault finding in a high-output production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical fault finding using a multimeter
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, fault finding independently where required
- Maintaining electrical components including sensors, relays, solenoids, switches, and fuses
- Supporting mechanical PPM tasks such as conveyors, gearboxes, belts, rollers, and drive units
- PLC fault finding on Siemens systems (no programming required)
What We're Looking For
- Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering
- Be electrically strong and confident fault finding without drawings when necessary
- Have experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Be reliable, proactive, and a strong team player
