We are recruiting a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well‑established manufacturing site in Wrexham. The site is modern, automated and continually investing in machinery and technology. You will work with advanced manufacturing systems, including robotics, automated production lines and end‑of‑line packaging machinery. The business maintains high engineering standards and offers long‑term stability with opportunities to develop technical skills. Company support: External courses, such as NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, are funded.
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer you will ensure production equipment runs efficiently and reliably.
- Planned and reactive maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment
- Fault finding on mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Working on robotics, automated machinery, and end‑of‑line packaging equipment
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining production efficiency
- Collaborating with production and engineering teams
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong track record within a manufacturing or automated production environment
- Experience with automated machinery, robotics, or packaging equipment (desirable)
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities
- Proactive, hard‑working attitude and good reliability
