A large-scale manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join its established engineering team at a highly automated production facility in Nuneaton. This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to work on modern automated machinery within a fast-paced environment that continues to invest heavily in equipment, technology and engineering improvements.
The Role
- Reactive maintenance and breakdown support across process lines
- Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems
- Working on conveyors, robots, palletisers and packaging machinery
- Electrical work involving sensors, relays, contactors, inverters and three-phase systems
- Mechanical maintenance on bearings, chains, belts, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Supporting planned preventative maintenance and continuous improvement activities
What We're Looking For
- An engineering qualification (NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
- Previous experience within manufacturing, FMCG, process or automated environments
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Experience working safely on machinery
- A proactive attitude and team-focused approach
