Our client is part of a 350 strong group with several sites around the globe. The UK site employs 70 staff with an annual turnover of £11.5 million specialising in the machining of precision parts for the Aerospace sector. The business has grown from £5 million in the past ten years more than doubling its revenue showing just how ambitious and successful the company is.
The company carry out a range of precision machining processes including turning, milling and grinding and boast an enviable quality record with on-time delivery and quality in excess of 99% seeing them ranked as one of the top suppliers to their major customer.
The business is currently looking to add an NDT Level 2 Inspector to the team who will be focussed on Fluorescent Penetrant and Magnetic Particle Inspection. The business are looking to recruit this person with immediate effect so please apply online for a speedy consideration.
This NDT Level 2 Inspector role will be carrying out Fluorescent Penetrant and Magnetic Particle Inspection on a wide range of precision machined aerospace parts. Your role will be to:
- Test the parts against relevant customer standards
- Assess results to see if the precision parts pass or qualify against set standards
- Compile test reports with key findings
- Coordinate the calibration of NDT equipment when required
Hours of work: 6am - 3:45pm Monday to Thursday.
To be successful in your application for this NDT Level 2 Inspector role you will need:
- A background in carrying out Fluorescent Penetrant and Magnetic Particle NDT Testing
- A strong attention to detail
- To be a methodical worker who enjoys working to set standards
- Happy working a Monday to Thursday 6am to 3:45pm shift pattern
