This is a fantastic opportunity for a multiskilled maintenance engineer coming to the end of their career who now wants to pass on all they have learnt in engineering to the next generation! This newly created role is best suited for somebody who still wants to maintain a decent amount of work on the tools, but also has a passion for developing, coaching and mentoring of apprentices.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the maintenance function with breakdown and planned maintenance work.
  • Coaching, development and training of apprentices.
  • Developing skills matrix to support with training.
  • Teaching electrical principles including fault finding and fault rectification.

We are looking for someone multiskilled with electrical bias.

About you

To be considered for this multiskilled maintenance role you should be/have the following:

  • Strong multiskilled experience with an electrical bias.
  • A passion for passing on knowledge and developing younger engineers.
  • Due to the nature of the site, you must be happy to work in a heavy and industrial environment.
  • You should hold a recognised level 3 (or above) engineering qualification city and guilds, NVQ, BTEC, HND, HNC.
