The Role
As a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting both planned and preventative maintenance while also responding to breakdowns
- Fault finding on electrical components including three phase systems, control panels, inverters, drives, motors and PLCs
- Conducting mechanical work on gears, motors and conveyors
- Working on your own projects to try and reduce downtime
Requirements
As a multi-skilled maintenance engineer it is required that you:
- Have an NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent in either mechanical or electrical engineering
- Have experience fault finding both mechanically and electrically
- Come from a previous manufacturing background
