The Company
Part of a large multi-site manufacturing group, this site is the most modern factory within the company and seen as its flagship plant. It is the most profitable and is going through significant investment in terms of new equipment being installed and automation projects
The Role
The multi-skilled maintenance engineer will get involved in planned and reactive maintenance across an automated manufacturing plant. Electrically you will be working on drives, invertors, relays, safety circuits. Mechanically you will see conveyors, bearings, motors, pumps, pipework and valves. There is project work to increase the reliability of machinery and engineering out repetitive faults.
Qualifications
- NVQ 3 in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Experience within an industrial manufacturing plant
- PLC experience - fault finding only
- You must be flexible to work OT - there is plenty available so someone who wants to put extra hours in and significantly increase their earnings would be ideal
