About the role:
We are currently partnering with one of our rapidly investing food manufacturing clients who are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Gainsborough. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to earn qualifications, as well as work as part of a close-knit team at a smaller site with big expansion plans.
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the smooth running of the factory by performing reactive and planned maintenance work.
- Electrical fault-finding as well as mechanical fault-finding.
- Taking ownership of looking after the workshop, ensuring all the tools are correctly stored as well as ordering new stock when necessary.
- Fault-finding on both the electrical and mechanical components.
- No programming required but need to have the ability to check I/O’s, read schematics and check HMI Screens.
The ideal candidate will ideally have an electrical bias.
About you:
To be considered for the Maintenance Engineer position, you should have the following:
- A minimum of a Level 3 Electrical qualification.
- Experience within an engineering environment.
- Comfortably fault-find on electrical systems and be able to work in a team environment.
- Contribute to the engineering activities across the site.
