Role – Mobile Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) – covering 2 sites

Salary – £47,840 + Overtime realistic OTE £55k

Hours – Monday to Friday 8-4pm

Location – Preston

Holidays – 28 with increase after 2 years\’ service

Training offered – Refrigeration controls courses, Manual Handling, Working at Height

ATA Recruitment have partnered with engineering firm specialising in the automated warehouse sector. They are a multi-site group supplying specialist services across, wholesale, retail and manufacturing facilities.

My client is accredited to the highest BRCGS Food Safety standards and provide world class services to some of the biggest names within the food and manufacturing industry.

They are now recruiting for an experienced electrical bias maintenance engineer to keep the operation running as smooth as possible.

The Role of the Maintenance Engineer:

Around 80-90% of the role is based out of the Preston sight with some travel to Newcastle, (twice a week). You could go some weeks not travelling to Newcastle and then the odd weeks travelling to Newcastle either e.g. Tuesdays/Thursdays.

Further responsibilities of the electrical bias maintenance engineer:

– Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on various automated equipment including mobile racking systems

– Fault find on control circuits, panels, inverters, drives

– Report into the engineering who will be mobile based

Requirements of the electrical bias maintenance engineer:

– Hold a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering

– Familiar with controls, safety circuits, inverters

– Experience in working in a manufacturing/FMCG environment (highly desirable)

– Happy to travel across 2 sites as and when needed
