About the Role
As a Metrology Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurement processes that support product validation, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction. You\’ll be involved in PSW submissions, internal PPAPs, annual re-qualifications, and goods inward inspections.
Metrology Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Perform PSW and internal PPAP measurements aligned with project timelines and specifications.
- Conduct annual re-qualification measurements for internal and external customers.
- Support goods inward inspections and record results using SAP.
- Provide measurement data for statistical analysis and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with customer and supplier technical teams.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality, safety, and environmental standards.
What We\’re Looking For
- Engineering qualification
- Experience in a metrology or quality-focused engineering role.
- Proficiency in PCDMIS programming and strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Familiarity with statistical methods and problem-solving tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, and FMEA.
- Experience with SAP and standard measurement equipment.
