Shift: Mon-Fri Days (8-4)

Our client has a solid maintenance function with a supportive environment, and they are currently looking for another motivated Mechanical Fitter to add to their team! Our client has a clear, structured plan to invest millions in training for you, upgrading their equipment, facilities and to make way for Continuous Improvement projects!

As a Mechanical Fitter, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with industrial mechanical equipment and components such as valves, bearings, shafts, pump seals, rollers, hydraulics etc.
  • Getting stuck in with different Continuous Improvement Projects
  • Working with a team on machinery such as conveyors, crushers, milling machines, grinders, heat exchangers, packaging machines etc.
  • Performing Reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance

The ideal Mechanical Fitter will have the following:

  • A recognised mechanical qualification
  • Experience working with a maintenance engineering team
  • A sound understanding of key mechanical components
