Mechanical Maintenance Engineer £45,000 + OTE of £48k + Overtime + 33 Days Holiday + Days Only + Social Events + Excellent Benefits Shifts: Monday – Friday (6–2 / 2–10) Location: Sheffield The Company We’re working with a long-established manufacturer that’s currently investing heavily in its people, site, and equipment. Due to continued growth and increased production demand, they’re now looking to add a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to their team. This role would suit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants a stable, long-term opportunity. The Role As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for: Responding to mechanical breakdowns to keep production running efficiently. Carrying out preventative and planned maintenance across site machinery. Working with a range of mechanical equipment including conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and motors. Supporting installation and improvement projects across the site. This is a hands-on opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer who enjoys fault finding and working with a variety of production equipment. The successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will join a supportive and well-structured engineering team. About You NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Maintenance Engineering. Experience working as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong mechanical fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to maintenance work.
