Role : Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Shift: 4o4o Days only Location: Tipton Salary: £42,700 per annum plus Training internal and external opportunities The Role My client are a recycling and waste management company and they are industry leading in their respective industry. Globally they turn over north of £3bn a year. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team and help keep the site running as efficiently as possible and help them to tackle reducing waste. They have been established for over 20 years now and in the UK alone they have a few key sites. On site they welcome end of line vehicles, waste electricals and large domestic appliances also working on cables. The company are very successful in their market, offering excellent employee benefits, fantastic training, progression and a great culture to work within. The Role Your day to day responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer are: Carrying out day to day maintenance doing mechanical and electrical tasks On site you will be working on PPMs as well as carrying out breakdowns when required My client has different types of machinery on site including: Shredders, Sheers, Mobile Plant Equipment, Presses and more Electrically your tasks will include Fault finding, working with various components, swapping like for like and stripping / replacing motors Mechanically as a Maintenance Engineer you will be replacing like for like components, belts, bearings, conveyors and hydraulic equipment The Candidate I am looking for a Maintenance Engineer that: Has a recognised engineering qualification Can work as part of a team but also take responsibility when needed Happy to work in a heavy background and get their hands dirty The Salary As a Maintenance engineer you will receive: An annual salary of £42,700 A pension contribution With numerous sites across the UK there is exciting opportunities for training and progression Working with a client that is well established and financially very stable with your job comes plenty of security Internal and External Training Opportunities ATA is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
