Our client has a solid maintenance function with a supportive environment, and they are currently looking for another motivated Mechanical Fitter to add to their team! Our client has a clear, structured plan to invest millions in training for you, upgrading their equipment, facilities and to make way for Continuous Improvement projects!
The Role
As a Mechanical Fitter, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Working with industrial mechanical equipment and components such as valves, bearings, shafts, pump seals, rollers, hydraulics etc.
- Getting stuck in with different Continuous Improvement Projects
- Working with a team on machinery such as conveyors, crushers, milling machines, grinders, heat exchangers, packaging machines etc.
- Performing Reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance
About You
The ideal Mechanical Fitter will have the following:
- A recognised mechanical qualification
- Experience working with a maintenance engineering team
- A sound understanding of key mechanical components
- Previous COMAH experience is beneficial, though not essential
