A large-scale automated operation is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join its established engineering team at a highly automated site in Tamworth. This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to work on modern conveyor and sortation systems within a fast-paced environment that continues to invest heavily in equipment, controls upgrades and engineering improvements.

The Role

  • Reactive and planned maintenance across automated conveyor and sortation equipment
  • Fault finding on conveyors, sorters, boom conveyors and material handling systems
  • Working safely within control panels using electrical drawings and multi-meters
  • Supporting ongoing upgrade projects across controls and automation systems
  • Maintaining equipment reliability across a large-scale automated operation

What We are Looking For

  • An engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
  • Previous experience within manufacturing, automation, logistics or production environments
  • Experience working safely within electrical panels and reading electrical drawings
  • A proactive attitude and team-focused approach
