£43,000 - £48,000, Matlock, Derbyshire, 3 shift pattern (6am till 2pm, 2pm till 10pm, 10pm till 6am), 40 hours a week. Overtime & X2, holiday equivalent to 24 shifts off, matched pension, death in service.
We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer, a multi-skilled individual to join one of the UK's leading design and manufacture of roofing, insulation, and waterproofing systems. Within their Matlock site, they mainly manufacture mastic asphalt palletised block and bulk hot delivery.
As a maintenance engineer, you'll work with a range of machinery including:
- Packaging equipment and palletisers
This role places a strong emphasis on both electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair. Fault finding experience via PLC is also very beneficial.
To succeed in this role as a maintenance engineer, you'll need:
- A strong background in maintenance within manufacturing environments
- Experience working on both mechanical and electrical components whilst abiding to H&S regulations
- Confidence with strip-downs, rebuilds, and reactive maintenance
- An NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in engineering
- A proactive attitude and potential flexibility for overtime and development
