The Role

We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking individuals to join a busy manufacturing team as Wrappers. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role where you will be responsible for preparing brick stacks for automated wrapping.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take plastic wrapping bags from the rack
  • Press the machine button to release stacks of bricks
  • Place plastic bags securely over each stack
  • Ensure stacks are correctly positioned for the wrapping machine
  • Maintain a steady workflow to meet production targets (approx. 200 wraps per day)
  • Keep the work area clean and organised
  • Follow all health and safety procedures

Working Environment

  • Factory-based role
  • Warm and sometimes dusty conditions
  • Working in small or enclosed spaces at times
  • Repetitive manual tasks
  • Standing for long periods

Shift Pattern

  • 3 days on, 1 day off
  • 3 nights on, 3 days off

Shift Times

  • Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm
  • Night Shift: 8:30pm - 5:00am

Requirements

  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Comfortable with physical and repetitive work
  • Able to work in warm, dusty, and enclosed environments
  • Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
