About the company: ATA is proud to be working exclusively with Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK, one of the country's leading OEM groups, at their world-class manufacturing facility in Derbyshire. The site, currently responsible for producing the world-famous Corolla, is looking for maintenance technicians of either electrical or mechanical bias to join one of their five manufacturing shops.

About You: TMUK values the skill on offer from a variety of environments; therefore, it’s not essential to be a maintenance engineer with the automotive sector. What is important is that you are dedicated to your craft and love the idea of constantly making improvements.
To be considered for the Maintenance Technician role, ideally you should have previous experience working within a factory environment: either electrical or mechanical bias with a completed craft apprenticeship to Level 3. Want to forge a long-term career. Happy to work across a three-shift pattern, including night shift & flexibility to complete the occasional overtime shift.
About the role: As a maintenance technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a variety of PLC controlled automated production machinery, which can include conveyors, hydraulic presses, robotics, plastic injection moulding and other niche equipment specific to the site and industry. Other responsibilities will include:
- Planned preventive maintenance
- Reacting to breakdowns
- Both mechanical and electrical fault finding
- Working with fluid power systems
- Project, upgrade, and continuous improvement work
- Supporting the installation of new machinery
