The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to join a large, well-invested site. This is a high-performing facility with state-of-the-art machinery and an experienced engineering team of five. The company is one of the market leading companies in the steel casting industry for a variety of industries including construction, naval, nuclear, oil, water and gas.
The Role
As a Maintenance Manager, you'll be 70% office based, 30% on the shop floor; working with a range of machinery including furnaces, cranes, moulders, grinders, inductors and arc air machines within the maintenance team, 50% reactive and 50% PPM, using a tablet system for job tracking. This role places a strong emphasis on both electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair. You'll need to be confident working with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, chains, sensors, and control panels. Experience fault finding via PLC is also needed. Additionally, this Maintenance Manager must understand H and have experience managing a team.
