Maintenance Engineer – Work on Robotics & Automation | £53k Location: Castle Donington Shift Pattern: Suez Days & Nights Salary: £53,000 + Overtime + Benefits We are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a global systems integrator at a highly automated distribution / logistics / warehouse site in Castle Donington. The site has received £75m investment and operates with advanced automation and robotics, processing over 120,000 orders per day.
Key Responsibilities Reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Electrical and mechanical fault finding Breakdown response in a fast-paced automated environment Use of CMMS (tablet-based) Maintenance of conveyors, shuttle systems, cranes, robotics, strappers and automated machinery Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
Requirements Recognised engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Automation) Experience as a Maintenance Engineer / Multi-Skilled Engineer / Shift Engineer Background in automation, intralogistics, FMCG, manufacturing or warehouse environments Strong communication and teamwork skills Able to work under pressure on days and nights
