Location – Rugby

Shifts – 3 on 3 off and 2 on 2 off Days and Nights Panama Shifts, including 2 weekends per month.

Salary – Β£49,500 plus overtime and training opportunities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join our client, a large global business based in Rugby. Our client specializes in fast-moving goods and has experienced significant growth over the past ten years, maintaining a market-leading position across the UK and Europe. They are a Β£2 billion turnover company with over 10,000 employees in the UK. The company has invested heavily in their international operations at Nuneaton, which continues to grow and thrive.

If you enjoy getting hands-on and working in a busy engineering environment, this role is ideal. You will receive extensive training on OEM equipment.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities

  • Reduce equipment breakdown duration and frequency by carrying out fault finding and planned preventative maintenance on automated production line equipment.
  • Perform mechanical fault finding on conveyors, monorail systems, and pneumatic equipment, primarily replacing components like-for-like.
  • Conduct electrical fault finding using a multimeter and reading electrical schematics.
  • Responsible for site preventative maintenance and responding to ad hoc repair requests during shifts.

The Candidate

  • Completion of an electrical/mechanical maintenance or engineering apprenticeship or qualification.
  • Experience in electrical and mechanical fault finding.
