Role: Maintenance Engineer Shift: Monday-Friday Days (8-5) Salary: Up to £45,000 Location: South Benfleet The Company Are you interested in guaranteed career progression with the journey to build up to Supervisory/Managerial level? Do you want to work in for a company who want to invest training (i.e. Engineering NVQ Level 3) to help you grow? Our client is a surging industry player who manufacture industrial products for large players in a UK critical industry. They supply their services to significant assembly and construction companies in the UK. This company has consistently invested money each year in new equipment and machinery! They are looking for another Maintenance Engineer to add to their growing maintenance function! The Role As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Leading a team of maintenance technicians, with the view of working up to a Supervisory role • Confidently fault finding on electrical components such as sensors, safety relays, photocells, inverters, performing electrical installations, upgrading cabinets etc. • Working on conveyors, palletisers, mixers, bagging machines, packaging machines etc. • Swapping out mechanical components like for like such as bearings, gearboxes, casing screws, conveyor belts etc. • Fault finding on PLCs such as Siemens S7 About You The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have the following: • A recognised electrical qualification • Experience working effectively within or leading a team • The desire to be upskilled, leading to Supervisory/Management role in the future • A sound understanding of key electrical components Company Benefits The company also discloses numerous benefits for the role of Maintenance Engineer which include: • A healthy company pension contribution • 34 shifts of holiday allowance • Clear Career Progression – the business wants to bring someone in who is keen on accelerating up the career ladder! • A strong budget dedicated solely for personalised on-site training, including the opportunity to earn an Engineering NVQ Level 3 – which the business will pay for!
