We are partnering with one of the biggest retail brands in the UK, an established high street retailer with a turnover of over £7 billion. The company is investing over £15 million in site machinery, including new conveyor systems, and seeks to expand its engineering squad with opportunities for growth, team lead, or manager roles. A comprehensive training package includes health and safety, external courses, and on‑the‑job training.
The Role
- Reactive maintenance on automated machinery – breakdowns
- Planned preventive maintenance
- Work on automated systems, cranes, and conveyor networks
- Fault finding both mechanically and electrically
- Work on PLC systems – basic fault finding
You
- Level 3 qualified – apprenticeship trained (mechanically or electrically)
- Confident in fault finding, either electrically or mechanically
- Team player
- Experience in an automated logistics environment
