Role: Maintenance Engineer Shift: Mon-Fri Days Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 Location: Newmarket The Company Our client is a massive manufacturing and processing company with footing in various processing industries. As a business they turnover £300 million a year and they supply their services to the biggest supermarkets and chains in the UK. This company has consistently invested £10 million per year in new automated equipment, machinery and Continuous Improvement projects for you to get working on. They will be investing £2 million in brand-new PLC equipment! They are looking for another motivated Maintenance Engineer to work on their brand-new equipment and bagging/packing lines! The Role As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Fault finding on electrical components such as sensors, relays, contactors, inverters etc. Swapping out mechanical components like belts, bearings, sprockets, chains etc. Working on new and automated conveyors, bagging machines, elevators, blowers, packaging machines etc. Performing Reactive maintenance and PPMs About You The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have the following: A recognised engineering qualification Experience with, or a flexible mindset for, working effectively within a team Proven ability to work cohesively in an engineering environment A sound understanding of key electrical and mechanical components Company Benefits The company also discloses numerous benefits for the role of Maintenance Engineer which include: No weekend work A healthy company pension contribution 33 days of holiday allowance ATA is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
