The Company
I am proud to be working with a Global Client in the Warehousing and Automation sector in Milton Keynes, My clients are specialist in the design, development and manufacturing the automation involved and used in warehouses across the world. My client is approaching the century mark and now have sites in 3 different continents totalling over thousands of employees across the globe.
At this site in Milton Keynes, they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a multi million pound site that has just turned over 6 years old. Joining a fully automated industry 4.0 site you will be working on a site with some of the latest automation and technology with continuous investment from the company into the site and their employees. My client love to promote from within into potential Maintenance Team leader roles and even further on from there
The role
As a Maintenance Engineer your roles will include:
- Working in a highly automated factory in the FMCG industry with the ASRS being a dominant factor
- Your responsibilities will include Reactive and PPM maintenance on all the machines and equipment on site, such as: Mini Loaders, Conveyors, Hanging Garment conveyors, Palletisers and de palletisers, Shuttle Systems and Cranes
- A lot of the role will be fault finding electrically working with various components
- Mechanically working with various components and swapping like for like
- Root cause analysis, Looking at recurring faults and Engineering problems out
The Candidate
The ideal candidate I am looking for is:
- You will need a recognised Engineering Qualification
- Strong communication skills as you will be joining 1 Senior and 5 fellow Engineers on shift
- A team player who can work with their team but also individually when needed to
- Confident in fault finding in panels
- An Understanding of Profibus and Profinet
The Package
The package you will be receiving is:
- An annual salary of £51,370 plus salary increase after probation
- Allowed to freely shift swap and take 16 days holiday
- A good pension
