Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled – Electrical or Mechanical Bias) Contract (2 positions available) Location: Sheffield Shifts: Monday-Friday 6AM – 2PM / 2PM – 10PM rotating shifts For the position of Maintenance Technician, you will be required to conduct the following duties: • Routine Maintenance: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime and extend equipment life. • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faults on production machinery to ensure efficient operation. • Continuous Improvement: Participate in engineering projects and contribute to improving equipment performance and reliability. • Team Working: Operate as part of a shift maintenance team, reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader. • Documentation: Maintain accurate maintenance records using a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS). • Multi-skilled Maintenance: Work across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The successful Maintenance Technician will need to have the following attributes: • Apprentice trained to Level 3 minimum (multi-skilled, or mechanical with electrical qualification / electrical with mechanical experience). • Previous experience as a maintenance engineer within a manufacturing environment  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across production machinery. • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. • Welding and fabrication skills are desirable. • Experience using CMMS systems is beneficial.
