The maintenance and projects engineer can expect a varied and challenging role that will involve the following:
- Conduct planned, proactive and reactive maintenance across an automated manufacturing plant. This includes electrical and mechanical fault finding on complex systems.
- Support the site controls engineer in projects to modify and upgrade systems including: PLCs (mainly Siemens), Drives, Robots (ABB), HMIs.
Required Experience:
- The Maintenance and Projects Engineer will be qualified to NVQ 3 as a minimum in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
- You must have experience maintaining an automated manufacturing plant.
- You don’t need to be the finished article but experience in some of the following is highly beneficial: PLC programming or modifications, Robot programming, Machine upgrades.
