With a strong turnover of over £100 million, they rent space to companies to store material in bulk quantities. Our client has a solid maintenance function with a supportive environment, and they are currently looking for another Operator to add to their team! Our client has a clear, structured plan to invest £10 million in upgrading their equipment, facilities and to make way for Continuous Improvement projects!
The Role
As an Operator, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Using a tablet to analyse safety hazards and perform the correct checks
- Loading and discharging heavy duty tankers and vessels
- Operating cranes to rig vessels
- Manually gauge tank liquid levels and report accordingly
- Work at heights to perform tank inspection and cleaning duties
- Keeping the site clean and safe from any spillages
About You
The ideal Operator will have the following:
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent
- Experience working with a manual-heavy role
- Willingness to work outside and in harsh weather conditions
- Confidence in fast-paced working situations
