We are recruiting for an established and growing engineering business that specialises in the design, development, and global distribution of mounting solutions for professional AV equipment, supporting a wide range of sectors including retail, education, healthcare, and commercial environments.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Managing multiple engineering/design projects from concept through to delivery.
- Acting as the link between customers, sales teams, and design engineers.
- Coordinating design work using SolidWorks CAD (reviewing, not producing drawings).
- Ensuring projects are completed on time and to customer specifications.
- Reviewing drawings with customers and supporting project meetings.
- Supporting the development of bespoke products and catalogue solutions.
- Suggesting design improvements and ensuring products are fit for purpose.
Experience Required:
- 2+ years' experience in Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, or Product Design.
- Experience managing or coordinating engineering projects.
- Ability to read and understand 3D CAD drawings.
- Knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, or mechanical products.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
Desirable:
- Experience using SolidWorks.
- Previous design experience (3D modelling).
- Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree – not essential).
