We are recruiting for an established and growing engineering business that specialises in the design, development, and global distribution of mounting solutions for professional AV equipment, supporting a wide range of sectors including retail, education, healthcare, and commercial environments.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing multiple engineering/design projects from concept through to delivery.
  • Acting as the link between customers, sales teams, and design engineers.
  • Coordinating design work using SolidWorks CAD (reviewing, not producing drawings).
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time and to customer specifications.
  • Reviewing drawings with customers and supporting project meetings.
  • Supporting the development of bespoke products and catalogue solutions.
  • Suggesting design improvements and ensuring products are fit for purpose.

Experience Required:

  • 2+ years' experience in Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, or Product Design.
  • Experience managing or coordinating engineering projects.
  • Ability to read and understand 3D CAD drawings.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, or mechanical products.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience using SolidWorks.
  • Previous design experience (3D modelling).
  • Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree – not essential).
