Role: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Shift: 3 on 3 off days and nights

Location: Leeds

Salary: £51,600

Overtime: Plenty of overtime available

Holidays: 22 days holiday (almost half the year off, with an additional 8 days off every 7 rotations)

The Company:

I am currently recruiting for a company that is a global manufacturing giant supplying to the biggest names worldwide. They operate in numerous countries with plenty of tier one clients and have been consistently growing across the UK over the past few years. This site in Leeds has had major upgrades with significant investment being put back into their factory.

Due to organic growth, they are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join the company, someone who will lead by example with a hands-on methodical approach to issues as they arise. They are looking for a team player who enjoys the culture of being in a large maintenance team and wants to bring positive energy to the table. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking for a career with a market-leading company, with excellent prospects for growth within the maintenance team.

The Role:

As the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will:

  • Work on state-of-the-art automated brand-new machinery
  • Carry out day-to-day maintenance including reactive tasks and standard PPMS
  • Replace like-for-like components mechanically, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems and fault finding

The Candidate:

I am looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer who:

  • Has a recognised engineering qualification in mechanical engineering
  • Is confident in working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Is confident in fault finding mechanically with occasional electrical support
  • Is confident in reading drawings

Salary and Benefits:

As the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will receive:

  • An annual salary of £51,600
  • 5% pension contribution from the client
