The maintenance and projects engineer can expect a varied and challenging role that will involve the following:
- Conduct planned, proactive and reactive maintenance across an automated manufacturing plant, including electrical and mechanical fault finding on complex systems.
- Support the site controls engineer in projects to modify and upgrade systems including: PLC's (mainly Siemens), Drives, Robots (ABB), HMI's.
Required Experience:
- Qualified to NVQ 3 as a minimum in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
- Experience maintaining an automated manufacturing plant.
- Experience in some of the following is highly beneficial: PLC programming or modifications, Robot programming, Machine upgrades.
