Installation & Commissioning Engineer Leicestershire £70,000 –90,000 (Made up of base salary + site uplift + travel allowance) + Benefits The Company Our client design bespoke electrical and control systems for power generation equipment working heavily with clients in the Oil & Gas sector. The business has a strong reputation and history for quality and service with decades of experience in the sector. Due to growth in the business they are currently looking to recruit for an Installation & Commissioning Engineer with immediate effect. The opportunity offers a competitive starting with salary with very lucrative uplifts when working at client sites and offshore. The Role The role will see you carrying out the Installation & Commissioning of control systems at customer sites through the country and offshore. Key responsibilities will include: Installation and commissioning of gas turbine control systems (Rockwell or Siemens) Carrying out factory and site acceptance tests for control systems Producing test specifications Produce Control Systems Design specifications Developing Control software for projects Specifying and sourcing electrical Hardware required for projects Programming PLC and SCADA systems (Rockwell or Siemens) Creating test documentation Support of control systems already installed at customer sites The Candidate To be successful in your application for this Installation & Commissioning Engineer role you will need: A HNC or above in an electrical, electronic or automation discipline Experience in programming either Rockwell or Siemens PLCs To have strong diagnosis and fault finding skills Happy to travel with the role and stay away at customer sites as required A UK driving license The Benefits For this Installation & Commissioning Engineer role the following benefits are on offer: £40,000 – 50,000 basic salary The use of a pool van or hired company car when travelling to customer sites Healthy uplifts when travelling and staying away in the UK and offshore The opportunity to earn £75,000 – 90,000 total earnings Optional healthcare scheme ATA Recruitment specialises in Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Civil, Transportation and general Engineering recruitment on both a permanent and contract basis – for more opportunities like this one, visit our website.
