The Role

As a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of automated production machinery, including conveyors, presses, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Key duties include:

  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Mechanical fault finding and breakdown repairs
  • Maintaining conveyors, bearings, motors, pumps and gearboxes
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects
  • Working within a large, supportive engineering team

What We're Looking For

  • NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent)
  • Mechanical maintenance experience within manufacturing, production, industrial or heavy engineering environments
  • Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
