We are currently recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established, fast-paced manufacturing site in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer looking to develop within a strong electromechanical maintenance team.
The Role
As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining plant and equipment to optimum standards, ensuring safe, efficient operation with minimal downtime in a high-volume production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on production equipment as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Maintain machinery safely while minimising downtime and disruption to production
- Perform in-depth visual inspections on critical components to identify wear, damage, or metal-on-metal contact
- Accurately document PPM checks and log corrective actions
- Fault finding and root cause analysis to improve reliability and performance
- Ensure health & safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times
- Use spare parts, consumables, and engineering resources efficiently
- Maintain workshops and engineering areas in a clean, safe, and fit-for-purpose condition
