- Conduct planned, proactive and reactive maintenance across an automated manufacturing plant. This includes electrical and mechanical fault finding on complex systems.
- Support the site controls engineer in projects to modify and upgrade systems including:
- PLC's (mainly Siemens)
- Drives
- Robots (ABB)
- HMI's
Required Experience:
- The Maintenance and Projects Engineer will be qualified to NVQ 3 as a minimum in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
- You must have experience maintaining an automated manufacturing plant.
- You don't need to be the finished article but experience in some of the following is highly beneficial:
- PLC programming or modifications
- Robot programming
- Machine upgrades
