Fabricator / Welder** Location: Huddersfield Rate: £17.00p/h-£21.00p/h DOE + Holidays / Hol Pay Inside IR35 (PAYE) Full-Time, Temp-Perm About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Fabrication Engineer to join our Fabrication Team. You’ll play a key role in manufacturing high-quality products, ensuring production meets company standards and project deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Fabricate and finish products to company specifications. Ensure timely completion of work within project schedules. Coordinate and prioritize parts for production. Support lean manufacturing initiatives for cost efficiency. Participate in design-to-manufacture meetings to optimize processes. Contribute to QA procedures and support R&D projects. Maintain effective communication across teams. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations. Requirements: Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Strong TIG welding skills, ideally working towards coded welding. Recognized apprenticeship/qualification in sheet metal work or fabrication. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Self-motivated with strong planning and teamwork skills. Awareness of equality and health & safety regulations. Desirable: Experience working with thin-gauge stainless steel. Background in the food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industries. Willingness to do site work when required.
