The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring maximum equipment reliability and production uptime within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Conduct fault finding and I/O checks on automated equipment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- A recognised engineering qualification
- Experience working within a multi-skilled maintenance environment
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities
- A good understanding of health and safety practices
- Experience within manufacturing, food, FMCG, or automated production environments would be advantageous
