The Role As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the repair, overhaul an refurbishment of hydraulic power units, hydraulic components and pneumatic components in the workshop, Other responsibilities will include, but not limiting to; Stripping down of hydraulic power units and components Components include

pumps, motors Specufying what's wrong with the components and providing written reports Re-building and assembling hydraulic power units to go to customer Pressure testing components Basic fabrications – welding of parts and machining Inspection of components Using engineering drawings to follow assembly instructions The Candidate The ideal Mechnical Fitter will have: Mechanical Engineering Qualification, ideally Level 3 Hands-on experience working on mechanical and hydraulic systems. Mechanical stripping and re-building of equipment Pipefitting, pipe bending and basic electric awareness Fabrication, Fitting and Machining experience A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently Flexible and able to work away occasionally A willingness to learn and develop through ongoing training The business is happy to consider experienced engineers, maintenance engineers with strong hydraulic systems or Fluidpower exposure ATA is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
