Maintenance Manager , £55,000, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, Days, 7am till 3:30pm.

Company bonus scheme.

Production bonus, plus a safety bonus.

The Opportunity We are recruiting for a maintenance Manager to join a large, well-invested site.

This is a high-performing facility with state-of-the-art machinery and an experienced engineering team of five.

For a variety of industries including construction, naval, nuclear, oil, water and gas etc.

The Role As a maintenance Manager , you'll be 70% office based, 30% on the shop floor; Furnaces, cranes and mouldersgrinders, inductors and ark air machineswithin the maintenance team, 50% reactive and 5 0% PPM , using a tablet system for job tracking.

This role places a strong emphasis on both electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair .

Experience fault finding via PLC is also needed.

Additionally, this Maintenance Manager must understand H&S and compliant regulations; The Person We're Looking For To succeed in this role as a maintenance Manager , you'll need: A strong background in maintenance within manufacturing environments – with heavy machinery Experience working on both mechanical and electrical components whilst abiding to H&S regulations Confident in managing an affective team An NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in engineering (ex-Forces welcome)A proactive attitude and flexibility for being there when extra hands are needed This is an ideal role for a maintenance Manager who wants to develop their career in a stable, well-backed facility with real progression and training opportunities.
