£45-47,840k DOE

Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm

The Company

ATA have partnered with the UK's leading manufacturer supplying into the biggest names within the build and public sector. Do you want to make this role your own? Do you want to be involved with future capex projects and work alongside their overseas site in the EU?

This role would suit an existing leader or someone with a proven track record of overseeing a team of engineers between 3-5 at a time. As the Engineering Team Leader you will be responsible for your team whilst also being hands on to ensure maximum efficiency of the machinery.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising a team of 3 -5 engineers
  • Schedule planned preventative maintenance
  • Mentoring and developing
  • Ensuring your team is in the best position to carry out their work to the best of their ability
  • Reactive and planned maintenance
  • Fault finding on electrical and mechanical components
  • Replacing parts like for like
  • Ensuring permit to work is in place and adhered to ensure contracts and colleagues can work safely

The ideal candidate for this Engineering Team Leader position must have the following skills, abilities and qualifications:

  • Must have a recognised electrical qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ level 3, BTEC, ONC, C&G, HNC, HND)
  • Proven track record of supervising or leading a team of engineers
  • Flexible on being hands on where required
  • Experience of working within a manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential
  • A positive can-do attitude
