Electrical Project Manager / Project Engineer

Location: Staverton, Trowbridge

Initial Location: Manchester (3–6 months – accommodation provided)

Length of Contract: 2 years

Rate: Β£500 – Β£550 per day (Outside IR35)

Start: End of January (possibility to start earlier)

Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager or Project Engineer with a background in FMCG manufacturing? This is a great opportunity to work on large-scale, technically complex projects across FMCG.

The role will initially be based in the Manchester to learn systems, standards, and ways of working before moving onto a long-term project in Staverton, where you\’ll be site-based delivering electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver electrical projects safely, on time, and within budget

Manage labour, contractors, materials, and suppliers

Lead and support teams of electricians on site

Act as the main point of contact for clients

Ensure compliance with electrical and safety standards

Control project costs and performance

Requirements

Experienced Electrical Engineer

Electrical Qualifcation

17th or 18th Edition qualified

10+ years\’ electrical and project experience within FMCG manufacturing

Strong background in food

Proven experience leading electrical teams and managing projects

Sound commercial awareness with experience managing budgets

Site supervisory card, ECS, NEBOSH, SSSTS, etc.
