ATA Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Halifax, investing in both their skilled maintenance engineers and their equipment as they continue to expand. Due to ongoing growth and increased production demand, my client is looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join their engineering team. The Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Reporting to the Maintenance team leader, you will be responsible for maintaining production machinery and site services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery
  • Responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns
  • Electrical fault finding on manufacturing equipment
  • Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

The Ideal Maintenance Engineer will have the following:

  • Recognised engineering qualification
  • Electrical apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds or equivalent
  • Electrical bias with strong fault-finding ability
  • Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Multi-skilled knowledge including basic mechanical maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance
