We are looking for a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer & Operator to support a pilot pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys variety, combining machinery operation, maintenance, and involvement in new equipment and process development within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate pilot plant machinery for powder production and packaging
- Carry out routine and preventative maintenance to ensure safe operation
- Fault-find and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Support testing and commissioning of new equipment and processes
- Maintain accurate records in line with GMP and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Multi-skilled engineer with mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
- Background in pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with pharmaceutical production machinery
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance
- Able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
- Flexible and adaptable when supporting new processes and trials
